Takeaway

Because more emotional sounds like direction while being none at all. Which emotion? At what intensity? For which audience? In service of what?
If nobody can answer those questions, the composer receives another round of adjectives and the room receives another version to dislike.
The goal is not more feedback. It is language that gives the work somewhere to go. Feedback describes a reaction. Direction creates a next move.
